On April 21, Sean Tuohy, the real-life adoptive father of NFL rookie Michael Oher, whose story was the inspiration of The Blind Side, will speak at the Adoption is Good Business Awards Luncheon being held at the Pfister Hotel. Bill Michaels, host of WTMJ Radio Sports Central, will be the master of ceremonies. From the point of view of an entrepreneur, athlete, coach and father, Sean will address the concern of the unrealized potential of kids like Michael and what is costing all of us, as well as what the business community can do to help. We will also present the Adoption is Good Business award to a local company who supports employees who adopt. The enclosed fact sheet outlines some of the reasons that adoption truly is good business.
