 1970 Bruce First AnniversaryIn June 1970, on our first wedding anniversary, my husband Dick took me to the famed English Room restaurant at The Pfister Hotel to celebrate. We had a wonderful dinner and danced for some time afterward. As we were leaving the restaurant, my husband surprised me with a key to a beautiful room in the hotel. He had packed some things for me and we had a romantic stay at The Pfister. We still have wonderful memories of that evening. We will be celebrating at The Pfister Hotel again in 2009, this time for our 40th anniversary.
