Eddie Villanueva
2013 Artist in Residence Finalist: Eddie Villanueva
Eddie Villanueva is an emerging artist living and working in Milwaukee WI. His art practice is diverse in form and content, but is often noted as graphic, spatial, and dynamic. He holds an MFA and MA from the University of Wisconsin Madison, as well as a BFA from UW-Milwaukee. In spring 2012, Villanueva received a Joan Mitchell MFA Grant. He is currently an instructor at UW-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts. He has shown extensively both regionally and nationally, and is currently exhibiting with the Circuit 12 Contemporary gallery in Dallas TX.
About the Program
