THE PFISTER HOTEL CLEANCARE PLEDGE

 

The Pfister Hotel CleanCare Pledge is an all-encompassing health and safety initiative created by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, that uses industry best practices and protocols for cleanliness, sanitization, and operations of our hotels and restaurants. As needs and requirements evolve, so will our Pfister Hotel CleanCare Pledge. The Pfister Hotel CleanCare Pledge includes four main initiatives: increased sanitization, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), practice of social distancing, and low-to-no contact interactions between guests and associates.

 

 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT THROUGHOUT THE PFISTER HOTEL

 

Increased Sanitization

  • Public spaces will undergo frequent cleaning, with extra focus on disinfecting high-touch surfaces with EPA approved products and methods. 
  • Touchless hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the hotel for your convenience.
  • UV cleaning devices are available at the front desk and concierge stations for sanitizing your cell phone, keys, tablets, and other small personal items.
 

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • You will find our associates wearing personal protective equipment. 
  • The Pfister Hotel requires unvaccinated guests to wear a mask while in the common areas of the hotel to help protect the health of your fellow guests and our associates. Starting June 1, 2021, for fully vaccinated guests, masks are optional.
 

Social Distancing

  • You are encouraged to maintain a comfortable distance from Pfister associates and other hotel guests.
 

Low-to-No Contact Interactions

  • In preparation for your arrival, you are invited to download The Pfister Hotel App, now available through Google Play or Download on the App Store. With the app, you’ll be able to check-in, access your mobile key, order room service, and more. 
  • We offer text messaging for simple requests and inquiries. Simply verify your cell phone number upon check-in to opt-in.

 

 

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR STAY

 

Parking

  • As valet parking requires contact beyond what is currently recommended, the valet will not be available at this time. Please enter our parking garage on Mason Street or for self-parking. There you will find elevators to take you to the lobby to check-in.
  • If you require assistance with your bags, please pull up to the entrance on Jefferson Street before parking, where someone will be available to assist with your luggage.
 

Check-In

  • Bell service is available for you upon request.
  • In preparation for your arrival, you are invited to download The Pfister Hotel App, now available through Google Play or Download on the App Store. With the app, you’ll be able to check-in, access your mobile key, order room service, and more. 

 

Elevators

  • Tissue dispensers and small trash cans are located inside and outside of each elevator to limit contact with buttons.
  • Elevators are sanitized frequently. The frequency of this cleaning is increased during higher occupancy periods at the hotel.
 

Guestroom

  • Guestrooms are cleaned before arrival with enhanced disinfecting and sanitizing methods above the leading hospitality industry standards and the Center for Disease Control guidelines.
  • All guestrooms are inspected by a supervisor once they have been cleaned and sanitized. After inspection, a seal is placed on your guest room door and is only broken by you as you first enter.
  • To ensure comfort during your stay, any additional amenities can be requested through our text service, via the app, or by calling the front desk.
  • To minimize contact, we are no longer providing daily housekeeping in guestrooms.  Daily housekeeping service is available upon request.

However, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By visiting The Pfister Hotel, you voluntarily assume all risks related to such exposure. You must follow all posted instructions and directions from our associates while visiting the hotel to help minimize the risk of the spread of COVID-19.
